Guns, Wedding Gowns, Cold Beer... in-stock and plentiful on all counts, as advertised! Full-line hardware store, etc. A true General Store. Like they say, "If we don't have it, you don't need it!" I'll take them at their word. A very competent staff - there to help get you squared away. Worth a detour, a place you'll be glad you dropped in to!

I called and left a pleasant voicemail with the owner and was ignored. I am extremely saddened with my experience at Hussey's General Store. I advise others reading this review to avoid doing business with this store.
I spent almost 2 hours in this store and I've been to it many times. Great prices for being the only store in miles and just about anything can be found here. Has a huge souvenir section and hilarious bumper stickers. Guns are expensive but great quality. Gas is also pumped for you.
Very poor customer service with my purchase ($319). I have got ZERO help with my problem after many attempts. They were happy to take my money but when it came to basic business etiquette and customer service they couldn't have cared less.
Hussey's is a general, "got a bit of everything" kind of store that serves a rural community the members of which would have to drive miles further to shop if not for Hussey's. Usually this kind of convenience also means higher prices but this is not necessarily true at Hussey's. In fact, Hussey's beat even Amazon concerning several items that I looked at(but not on others). Basically, the old saying that you have to shop around is true no matter where you go. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that we had a difficult time finding assistance when purchasing cement. 60lb bags of cement are locked up in storage so you have to have employee assistance to get it. We had to do some searching before we finally found some help. Everyone was nice though.
